    Bugs, The answer is yes and no. This patent was applied for several years ago, but yes they were hopeful that they were on to something. Patents are expensive to obtain and maintain.

    But the news today does not add weight to their confidence. What it does do is increase the value of their technology. The more, better and stronger patents they own the more confident we can be that our IP is safe.

    It’s also good to note that the Chinese Patent Office will have done deep research to support our belief that the technology is ours and can’t be contested by others. Every approved patent adds weight to this argument.

    If you take the dime to Google PCSK9 inhibitors and read about the massive lawsuits between Sanofi and Regeneron against Amgen. Huge battle costing many millions and many years. Sanofi only won last year.
