yeah I had the same question as you. The slide I found explains the approval and sale of medical devices in NZ, it looks easier getting in than elsewhere but then seems it’s based on if individual hospital agree to cover
••based on the info it may be the company did a deal with hospital
•• or as you say could be somebody wealthy enough to pay, imagine it’s not cheap though to get this sent in from Germany.

I think device has been approved in NZ for almost as long as CE mark right? Have to say wasn’t expecting Kiwis to be first but there you go! Kiwis rule!
