They simply compared it with the most common treatment people receive...
Not much has changed with chemo treatment in the last 10 years in Australian Hospitals,
Hospitals don't throw away expensive machinery every couple of years to get the latest thing,
The investment is simply too large...
The CT and X-Ray Machines would often be 10 years old,
likely any Chemo Machine would be too.
There may have been some new high tech stuff done since,
But it's not what most people would receive at their local hospital...
So it seems fair that they compared it to the method most hospitals would offer....IMO...
They simply compared it with the most common treatment people...
