I should add that the point being made is that these do not require an ASX ANN.

However, when a VP of regulatory is announced to SH with some fanfare as part of a formal ASX ANN, then in the middle of a regulatory process she is terminated, then it would be a reasonable expectation for SH to be informed. At this point in time the VP of reg would be a critical position.

With regard to the NB and various memos - more established companies do not make the sorts of statements about expectations of time to be awarded a regulatory approval. They tend to state that a application has been made, and leave it at that until the application is either dropped or approved. OSL have made a number of statement regarding their expectations, and yet appear to not be informing SH of why the delay is at least 2 months, and possible a fair lot longer. At what point do SH expect some communication about this matter.

So, to sum up - neither event would require an ANN under ASX rules. But based on the fanfare of the starting of the VP, and the fast track CE application, it would be reasonable for the company to keep SH informed when these things don't work out as expected.

If SH are not concerned then fair enough. If they are then they should be calling OSL and asking for some explanations.
