Klutch: No, and it’s rubbish. The device hasn’t been tested in a proper randomised trial to be able to make that sort of claim . I can tell you What they’ve done: stuck their trial results up against a so called “naive” company - generated metanalysis of historic studies in locally advanced PC (the first poster) and tried to imply they’ve increased median survival. It’s scientifically grossly unsound, because (and I’ve seen the historic studies they included - they’re listed in previously released company materials) most of those historic studies were of old inferior or obsolete chemotherapies, a number went back to the ‘80’s and 90s, whereas OSL trial used current best chemo in its device trial Panco . it’s an invalid comparison because of high risk of extreme bias. Tread carefully and treat such communications with high degree of caution would be my advice!
