I got another wrong but was in and out in one day and still pocketed a grand. RDM was a two year bust but minimised my loss to about 12% on its recent rise.

DD include days and days of research on the board members technical staff, mine and area history, lots of trawling through annual reports etc, mining industry reports and historical reports if an old mine or area opening up. Anyone can do it. But the most important thing is the Board trustworthy and does it smell right. Sometimes that is not obvious until you see a number of capital raising and how they intertwine with announcements.

In the case here we have dealmaker CEO with a finance background with some mining exposure, a highly credentialed technical director, a Chairman with strong gold mining credentials and another non exec director with mining credentials. A bloody good start and worth a modest investment at such an early stage.
