I'm not sure these numbers are correct. My understanding is over 50% of shareholders need to vote for the vote to be valid. Of those 50% plus shareholders voting there must be a 75% acceptance. Average voter response in Australia is around 62% which means a 19,99 % holding would be a blocking stake. Rough calculations would require approx 85% participation all voting in favour to pass the resolution. That's why it is critical that as many as possible vote otherwise Thorney will succeed in blocking what is a very reasonable offer. That's my take on what I find a very confusing set of numbers.
