The challenge for Thorney's thesis is that OVH didn't trade with the news of the Sargon write-off as the Scheme was announced the same day. Arguably, the share price would have traded lower than 24c. And this is exactly where it is going back to if this bid fails.
I'm surprised that Thorney doesn't heed the Founder's and her Board's view that 43c is a fair price for the company. This is supported by the IER (which I am often skeptical of but the offer is at the high end of the range) and Bells who value it at 44c.
