If I was iress I would be asking some very pointed questions as to why alex started buying in unusual volumes at an extremely coincidental time immediately before the takeover offer was announced. Maybe it was just a coincidence - what do other posters here think? At the very least it might be worth ASIC running their eyes over it to make sure everything is within regulations. I mean who knows - maybe it came to alex as a vision when he was sleeping that iress were about to launch a takeover.
