Too right! As a side note had another interesting convo with my sister who’s top of her field in her own right about the current state of play. Highly regards the Leiden institute we’re now collaborating with, she was well placed at the Pasteur institute in France for quite a few years. Also gave me a run done on the ONJ being born out of the Ludwig institute originating in New York before spreading out, one being in Melbourne. Being funded mainly through stock investments they lost the lot and not wanting the good work to go to waste some philanthropist stepped up and the ONJ was born. Some top grade scientists headed there from WEHI and she was very excited at the recent announcement on mpl’s mode of action on cancer.
