I'm with you on that! Uniti may declare they are not matching (due to legal breach) and will acquire but not sell their 20% shares into the offer. If another 5% of shares decide to not sell as well, there is no way Aware can compulsory acquire the company (https://legalvision.com.au/compulsory-acquisition-of-shares/)
In that scenario Opticomm would be owned by Aware (75%), Uniti (20%) and other shareholders (5%). Whilst Aware could influence strategy by stacking the board, they wouldn't get access to the cashflows of Opticomm, meaning they can't easily pull money out of the business as they would if they were full owners. I'm not sure that would be a palatable outcome to a super company as it'd be difficult to extract the return on their overpriced $6.50 cost base.
