Launch of new United Networks Wi-Fi App

"London Drugs in Canada, is launching in February 2017 across all stores and online. Selected existing White Labelled partners and new partners have begun testing - with commercial rollout progressively from March 2017."


My thoughts

United has "over 20" corporate partners according to the release and prospectus (I counted about 25 differnt partners a few weeks back by googling "United Global SIM" and different brand names eg

so imagine the new Wifi app revenue streams that can potentially come out from even just a couple of these players they are all incentivised because they get a revenue split with United plus the User tracking data which is where United can make even bigger margins. This is on top of the $7.5m brought in last year which would have been mainly Global SIM revs.

Also in the announcement was the cost reduction by up to 50% from its suppliers. United seem to have passed alot of this onto users which according to the company -

“We expect the business effects for United to be higher volumes and take up while maintaining margins in offering cheaper and better products,” Mr Ghattas said.

No way im selling my UNL there seems like tonnes more to come IMO!
