There is a need for continuous disclosure and there are serious consequences for directors failing to inform the market. (not sure whether ASIC will look into this one). The point being that this situation has not happened overnight. So either the board were being misled by their management and executives or it was crass incompetency or both!. Yes, this was a risk stock, but one does expect some degree of truth! Hopefully a white knight will appear and if the grades and quantum of ore is there, a more professional group might make it a goer again.
