US, Korean and Japanese car makers are going to need non China controlled ev supply chains pretty quick. You would have to think the LFP plant should be on the cards to fast track.
also I would recommend to anyone to test drive a BYD and see how quickly they will dominate the domestic vehicle market. It’s on the other automakers to catch up.
also no tariffs on Chinese made EVs. That idea is dumb.
