Arrawurra Corporation received hundreds of thousands of dollars from AEV last year, without doing a single thing. Also got a huge chunk of shares. Perhaps the money should only have been paid when a binding offtake agreement was signed or revenue-generating enterprise kicked off, and the cash kept in the bank. Upfront payment, with no confirmed revenue to replace it, was just feel-good welfare.
