Cameco repeatably says in all their presentations, that they "must first" find a home for their products, be it yellow cake, conversation and hopefully UF6, LEU, etc, before they commit to further development or increased investment into mines or new technologies, etc.
As we can see, Constellation is closely watching the outcome of GLE's TRL-6 testing. Market pricing of UF6 and Conversion are at near all time highs!
Once TRL-6 is proven, things will occur rapidly as the Western Utilities will need to restock in all areas of the fuel chain.
I think Tim Gitzel even said recently that GLE could become the next US mine! If the market can meet with Cameco's strategic pricing for UF6 & LEU then it will be all systems go as Cameco say they are operating their mines very efficiently now going forward.
