Once it had been reported that Laser enrichment works, the cat was already out of the bag, of course other will try to find the answers, stands to reason, but just because it has a small footprint doesn't mean is is undetectable!
It is, and that subject has been discussed before, but the zealots will try to use anything that may help their cause even if it doesn't, it's like trying to stop the tide from coming in, it's called progress and god knows we need it, just look around the world at the changing climate, solar and wind haven't helped enough it seems, they need more of it, but they also need a base load supply to support it, one that doesn't produce GHG's, something like Nuclear fits that bill perfectly and they will find a way to get rid of the wastes, it won't go away on it's own, they need new technology to use for that and it is not something they don't already have as a technology, finding the best methods to use it is what is happening now!
