First I heard of this, but just did a search and it does seem like they have a taken a share in Barton Gold.

I hope this is a share based on work they done rather than PGX actually deploying their cash, but slightly concerned that they have stepped outside of their core competencies (especially if that 'owner operator' comment is true).

You would have thought that they would have informed the market about this (I don't recall seeing a mention of Barton previously including in last years annual results)
