On a totally seperate issue, saw a write up in news.com.au yesterday on the old using body immune cells to attack leukemia calls. Trialls in Australia i believe. They stated the t cells are removed and then "reprogrammed" to bind to proteins on the surface of cancer cells so they can recognise and attack them. In some cases complete remission achieved. Having said that of 4 leukemia sufferers tested in oz trial apparently 2 died before end, 1 couldnt be treated fir sime reason and one in complete remission so not stunning except for the person in remission i guess.
It would be good if we could find some similar process to bind to cancer cells with cpp then enter with the myc inhibitor? This immuno therapy seems to be scoring more runs around the world at the moment. I guess that is because currently no one can hit myc.
Apparently the immunotherapy mob are going on to look at breast cancer and others also now and appears promising. Sorry couldnt find the link.
