I am pleased to hear that high hit rates have been confirmed from PYC synthetic Phylomer libraries against several target classes. Which targets? Not confirmed as yet, but good to know that the UQ collaboration is on track for the validating of prototype arrays of Phylomers for use in universal diagnostics. Why is this important? The second paragraph from the announcement titled 'Synthetic Phylomer Libraries' dated 26/04/2012, is instructive. Many long termers know how excited I've been for numerous years about this collaborations and this emerging field of synthetic biology. Fingers crossed Phylogica and UQ are getting closer to achieving their goal/s.
