In a statement today, Mr Fotios said he intended to remain a major shareholder of Eastern Goldfields (30 per cent) into the future to see its potential realised.
“Eastern Goldfields’ Davyhurst mine will be a strong, low-cost gold producer for years to come, and the company has significant exploration potential from its large tenement position near its existing infrastructure,” he said.
“The company has consolidated a substantial and strategic ground position immediately north of Kalgoorlie that has the potential to provide feed for Davyhurst for many years into the future.”
