Shorters are vultures. Any sign of bad news, and away they go.
Bottomline is, the resource is still in the ground, the value is still there.
Over the years, I have been invested in many companies that have been shorted.
I play their game, and let the SP go down at their expense, then buy at the lower price.
Average down worked a treat with DCN. Had bought at $1.30, and it got shorted all way
down to 32 cents or something like that. My investments ended up +25%.
Remember WGX pays a dividend, and gives a 7.5% DRP discount.
If SP get's to $1.96, will be out the red and into the black, with upside.
