What these people can't accept is that no one other than themselves cares what they bought it for and is therefore their hurt feelings are irrelevant to the market. As some posters have pointed out the only issue is "is it good value now" (answer "yes") and will in produce cash/profits in the future (answer "maybe" but they appear to be doing the right thing).
