I find that to be a very strange situation @Neil1959 - Have you approached the TGA ???

So from what you're saying, it appears that once one has had a prescription - CGB being the only importer of that product at the time, and subsequently cease importation via Medcan - the 'patient' is trapped/denied their next script being filled until Medcan is replaced by another importer ?!!
There also aren't any of your 12.5mg pills left in Australia ? Surely there must be a registry of inventory by law or by TGA regulations ?
This situation seems more like a dark ages monopoly with no other option but to have your health and wellbeing held to ransom !
Have you tried to reach out to others who would be sharing the same penalty ?
