Well it's not as though gold is a box of freshly plucked strawberries, rotten in a few days.
Why not hold auctions of gold bullion, in say 100,000 ounce lots. On that day, there might be a need for bullion in Turkey, or Shanghai, or Zurich, markets who are willing to pay a premium. Why accept the wholesale Comex price, and let them reap the 'wholesalers' margins, as money for nothing???
Down at the cattle yards, are they all accepting a one size fits all price, for their cattle? And do they not time the sale of their cattle, when in the best condition?
Where are the novel concepts for gold trade??
