I agree with most of your points, but individual potato growers sell through a marketing board, so they are not just an individual grower, against the power of the marketing chains. (Individual miner, against the Comex).

An Australian gold marketing board, setup collectively by the miners, and selling their production together, in an auction house format, as they produce their gold, with bids from the Comex, Shanghai, Turkey, Geneva, etc, would maximise the available price.

The gold miners, such as NST, have done all the hard work, with all their skills, and to market their product, as if they an elderly potato grower, back of Burke, seems a bit fatalistic.

Isn't Albo and his dog talking about getting smart, these days??

And I suspect that part of the gold miners, getting their gold licenses, is a condition, they must sell their production, through the approved channels, and at the market fix price. We are still a colonial nation, after all.

However, NST maybe leaving a lot of money on the table, and walking away, in defeat.
