The operational update was only issued ten days ago and IMO anyone who concludes that a deal won’t be struck with the Saudis, based on what was written in the operational update, is likely to be very, very wrong.
You don’t need to read too much into that announcement to conclude that the MOUs are alive and well.
During the life of the MOUs, there would be a significant amount of dialogue between Surefire’s directors and the Saudis. Both parties need to be happy with the terms of a potential JV.
I’m happy to hold.
