I dare say Orica's extension is closely aligned with the hopeful positive outcome of the SA government's grant.
"Come on guys just a few more weeks before you walk, we've got a bit hinging on this" or something a little more subtle.
If a decision is still pending re the Govt handout, Orica pulling out wouldn't be viewed by decision makers as an endorsement to Strike's project.
Though I may be just blowing smoke... not unlike their Cooper update.
