On my reading of Part 6-7 of the Corps act they can't withdraw the bid during the offer period based on this unless they sought and received approval from asic and subject to their approval. It doesn't meet anything contained in section 652c

also the offer period doesn't commence until April 5. Despite the bid being live now so technically prior to April 5 they still have time to pull they bid if they wished. Is my understanding.
