exactly right HC from what i understand of these types of wells from research and talking to industry people. If you frac and stimulate the wells incorrectly in the beggining then no amount of remediation can fix them.
One guy I spoke to who had worked at the field said the reservoirs around the newly drilled wells were stuffed. Basically said they had lost their integrity and would produce more water than gas and that it was a prob caused by incorrect drilling and fraccing. Bit of a amateur rush job IMO on the wells and hence they will never produce gas in the rates PC is touting.
I would like anyone to post an example where another company has spent so long remediating wells and it actually paod off. Again from what my novice understanding is that if they don't produce well in the first 3 or so months after drilling / fraccing or treatment then they never will.
