You are talking about little smears of visible Gold here and there....and it hasn't done anything for the SP of at least one company I can think of: they are still waiting on assay results as well.
As to all the other stuff, you are basically describing the process of exploration as a waste of money.
The only way to determine if there is Gold in any of these targets is to drill them.
So yes, exploration holes are 'designed to test'.
They will continue to drill and hope that they come up trumps.
'The more I drill, the luckier I get' should be the motto.
'If at first you don't succeed, try, try again'.
Fortunately they are not taking their bat and ball and going home after not finding what they wanted in the first two holes. This is a large project area with plenty of decent targets.
Will anyone eat humble pie if the team eventually produce the goods(?)
