the information contained in Friday’s announcement was what was available and must’ve been correct at the time. 
The questions are:
1. Was there a leak?
2. If yes, who was responsible? (Who knows!)
3. What was the intention of the leaker/s?
4. Could they have worded the announcement better? Probably? 
5. Was the TH necessary? In my view the the announcement combined with TH spooked the hell out of people. Many people think they are traders and think they can trade and quickly sell on the way down and buy back in at much lower prices. 

Having said all that, and without discounting or dismissing your feeling, emotions and any financial losses this may have caused you, it’s best to move on and hopefully we, both the investors and management learned something from it all.
