Share on issue by itself is not really meaningful. What matters is Market Cap - MC = SOI x SP
I don't care that MAY has 1 billion or 3 billion SOI - I care that it is valued at $180mill.
I use the MC and revenue projection to determine where MAY can go from here.
If I believe MAY can only generate $1mill per year in rev - then it is way overvalued at an MC of $180mill.
If I believe MAY can generate $200 mill per year in rev - then it is way undervalued!
At 20,000 barrels of oil per day Block 9 can generate $2 million per day - which is $700 mill per year. MAY gets a % of that. So what MC does that support in your opinion?
