Had a quick flick through the report. I noticed it is dated 24 October so the government took 1 month to approve - must be some sort of record turnaround. I added a few imags from the report.
The mining proposal only cover NN (UH and OP) and looks like only for the indicated resource - it does not cover Pepper.
The UG operations will produce about 3.8mt of material which happens to coincidence with the 3.88mt in the NN indicated are.Page 46 states:
"Underground operations
The underground extends along strike approximately 400 m and will initially be approximately 550 m deep.
The across strike width varies between 5 m at the southern extent of the mining area where the stopes will
be extracted potentially via a longitudinal retreat, and 40 m at the northern side of the mining area where the
stopes will be extracted potentially via a transverse primary/secondary sequence. The dip of the hanging wall
and footwall typically range between 45° and 75°. Figure 3.12 shows the proposed underground design.
The underground operations will produce allowing approximately 3.8 Mt of material, extracted using an underhand
retreat stoping sequence, with 20 m sub-level intervals and stopes typically 10-20 m along strike. As the
underground orebody is relatively flat (45 to 75°), the hanging wall will be prone to unravelling and backfill
support will be required to maintain hanging wall stability and remove the requirement for pillars,
complete extraction of the orebody. Further details on the backfill paste is provided in Sections 3.1.7 and 6.3.5.
Page 53 notes the upgrade in bold below and the image.
"The processing plant has been in operation since 2017 and consists of:
• Primary Crushing
• Single Stage Grinding
• Gravity Concentration and Intensive Leaching
• Classification
• Leaching and Adsorption
• Elution
• Electrowinning
• Smelting
The carbon in leach (CIL) processing plant operates with an annual throughput of 2.8 Mtpa of ore, with a
capacity of up to 3.0 Mtpa depending on the ore type. The plant operates with a single stage jaw crusher,
supplying crushed ore to the 6.0 Megawatt Semi-autogenous Grinding (SAG) mill. The processing plant is
planned to be upgraded with the addition of a ball mill, to produce a finer grind material (70µm compared to
current 90µm), and a pre-leach thickener ahead of the leach circuit. SAG mill discharge pulp is fed to the 6 x
1,200m3
leach and adsorption tanks. Recirculating load passes over a gravity scalping screen, through a single
50” Knelson concentrator to an Acacia intensive leach reactor. Both carbon in leach and gravity gold dore bars
are produced at site.
Figure 3.18 shows the potential plant layout, including the additions proposed."
