This is speculation on my part not firm knowledge.
If in the future a well updip and in the same structure of Praslin 1 was drilled and contained oil, then yes this well would help oil production by water injected in the flank of the structure. However one would assume that Buru drilled on the highest point as seen on the 3D but that remains to be seen.
It is unlikely they would built a pipeline to dispose of the water but simply truck it.
They could dispose of the water into Ungani if they had a porous well in the structure which is wet. My understanding of the results so far is that the reservoir is porous and oil bearing or tight and oil bearing. So unless they drilled a flank well they do not have a disposal well there.
I do agree the release was oddly worded and Buru may have some future plans for the Praslin structure however my guess would be they will take a shot at a different structure in the area before going back to Praslin.
