The problem is they won't. AISC is 'per ounce' meaning that less ounces = higher costs, as most costs are a combination of fixed (staff, etc) and variable (mining, milling etc) costs. If you reduce the ounces due to grade (rather than due to tonnage) then your fixed and variable costs stay the same, and you produce less.
Good company though, made good acquisition and did a deal with the market to get out of debt. So I expect good things but it's hard to predict.
