KF is the real deal, LIke SF, I also wonder if people do get what MEL is all about?

Let's refresh our memory,


In KF update #5 " strong gas kick was experienced at 1,452 metres. The indicated formation pressure was 2,200 psi. Drilling was halted to increase the mud weight to control the gas show".

Now back to today's announcement "Metgasco is encouraged by the gas flows to date given that
only approximately half the planned quantity of proppant was able to be placed".

I would say that the result could be pretty good, given that they had some operational issue which prevented them using the planned amount of proppant.
Kind of lucky here, but perhaps all that strong gas kick didn't need that much of stimulation to get the gas flowing after all.

Metgasco is encouraged by the gas flow to day? I think they might be back to the old conservative announcement routine?
