This was a pretty predictable announcement. Almost no solid information or progress, just more promises. Aburb's quote pretty much sums it up, which is a good example of something typical of what they've been saying for years.

Supersimple: I believe by the time they come up with something useful, dinosaurs will have reclaimed the planet from the unicorns. They just don't seem to be set to do anything commercially useful. So far the only thing they've done is make one pilot plant, which they claim they liked the results of (though we weren't given a single word of that report, and they then went on to produce another pilot plant to do the exact same thing, which indicates that either the first one was actually a failure or the second one is redundant...). That, and they've made a lot of promises which they failed to keep or are still outstanding.

They promised the market they would be in commercial production of the nutriceuticals with significant income *last year*.

On the plausibility side of things, the questions are still being begged. If they have multibillion dollar technology, why leave it sitting unguarded in a paddock next to a public car park? It's the sort of thing which would be kept in a very well guarded facility, it would literally be one of the most important industrial secrets in the world... left unguarded... next to a public car park... think about that. If they have multibillion dollar technology, why have they been sitting around as a microcap company for so many years?

I'm just not sure how anyone can take them seriously. Take a look at where AEB gets its money, where it goes (look at the proportion of it going into staff wages) and a close look at who is on the pay roll.

I think what it comes down to is that people are very willing to believe stories they want to be true, and ignore evidence.
