A distinct possibility Db BUT they may want this zone to contribute their high pore pressure performance into the fracks moving into the vertical plane and into the high perm zone.

It all depends on how they have the strata fluid dynamics modelled which they no doubt have had an engineer work on given they know the various parameters involved.

They may in fact have a few scenarios modelled, but from the application they needed to submit to the Alaskan authorities their perf plan is I would think set in stone so its hard to see them allowing potential HC fluids into the production liner at the high perm zones without Alsakan approval.
