Mentioned yesterday that we r dealing with a VERTICAL test well that has fractures originating in the horizontal. If we have decent complex fracturing and the proppant has placed well (not embedded !!!) then the fractures should now be in a static state or stress equilibrium.
The natural push of the reservoir must initiate via the majority of small fractures to start HC movement and it will take more ooomph to initiate decent diffusion into the larger fractures and then the well bore.
Thats my take on it anyway.
When one has a long horizontal with many fracture stages then the collective ooomph will be much better.
We r dealing with multiple fractures in 2 zones in the vertical which will take that much longer to clear due to gravitational + fluid density issues imho.
