Proceeds to highlight technical excerpts from an announcement as evidence of sentiment
I think this stuff is beyond the average investor, particularly short termers, and this is not the stock for panicky investors or those not willing to take the time to learn about the processes and risks involved. I don't think it was the best operations update, but it also isn't a doomsday prophecy either. To me it said the company is now going to do what they said they may need to do, i.e. a shut in. Interpret that how you like, to me there's still billions of barrels down there they just need to work out how to extract. It's called unconventional for a reason.
