I'm not convinced that this is simply a case of shutting the well and Tadahhh! the well flows.

Yes closure of the fractures due to proppant embedding into the shale, is a real possibility 88e identified early. Some of this information would be incomplete at this stage, but there are tracers in the proppants that should reveal placement. It will be a process of elimination to establish what the problem is and if there is an engineering fix
