DW has been under promising/ over delivering for a couple of years now. I think the "impact/ If any" comment is reflecting that, but the risk has gone up hence share price slide. However, the prize remains the same, the oil is still there.


Does he want to wrong foot the traders/profit takers/mood swinging nervous nellies? Maybe. They've been hampering the stock price sentiment since ice 1. But is there anything he can do about that? Probably not, but this "impact, if any" would be the closest thing to being able to do that. It's truthful and reflects the great risk that he's been reminding us of all along. Although there is an air of a higher risk now.

I think the volatility will be with us for a few more days, expecting it to probably go down again before it goes one way or another. There is no denying that chart and sentiment is now as sick as a dog, it will need flow rates now to come back.
