Possibly some worthless information but not sure if you are aware that BOE's are not calculated based on gas value but are calculated based on BTU's . This gives a misleading number and makes it sound like a dollar value could be more than it is. Depending on the oil price and the gas price , each company could actually have a different BOE calculation, so that is probably why they standardise.
