Gas hydrates are a molecule composed of both water and hydrocarbons that manifest when temperatures drop and add very little to production.
Gas condensate is liquid that drops out of the gas after the gas is separated from the oil. Generally due to further cooling/processing of the separated gas stream. It was the clear flask of liquid in the IW1 core sample pictures and will be a meaning full proportion of production. Generally it will be blended back into the oil and sold as such
The fact that the well has already flowed some hydrocarbon gas, acts as proof that it can overcome the resistance at points in the reservoir. Like a good social networker it now just needs to go viral and expand its points of contact.
