    some more copy pasting...;

    As the volume of water around our well fractures reduces then the flowrate it will allow water out of fractures should increase.

    Imagine a typical garden hose as one fracture, if the hose was full off water and you wanted to drain it, you could put your mouth over the hose end and blow the water out the other end. Now imagine that same hose with only 10% water at the end you want to drain, it will now be easier to blow out that water, nothing to do with quantity of water, it is all to do with surface wettability and the viscous water touching the inner hose wall, less water/hose contact equals less friction and less puff to shift water.

    Now imagine 9000psi 'lungs' doing the puffing and a fracture that gets higher closer to wellbore (think of a wedge) and the last dregs of fracc fluid should move rather rapidly towards the wellbore.

    So instead of looking at rates like 160 barrel a day and trying to establish the date of first oil, expect higher and higher as the water reduces and gas increases. So we could reach the 30% quicker than people think.

    If anyone interested there is something called the radial flow equation.

    JohnyB.Goode, I was out all day and couldn't reply sooner. You like the kitchen tap scenario, well have you ever turned on your kitchen tap after a water shortage or house repair etc and witnessed the almighty cough a kitchen tap will make when the airlocks in the pipe get through... nasty noise and that will be how the gas starts in our well.
