Agincourt's mining efforts at Williamson in 2005 / 2006 are interesting @gold13. Their initial expectation for Williamson was recovery of 104,000oz of gold over 30 months @ C1 cash cost of A$410 /oz.

Spectacular gold intercepts at Williamson : 4.8m @ 231 g/t from 372.2m (7.4oz) including 0.4m @ 2700 g/t (86 oz)...Maybe they drilled through a nugget.

• Excavation fleet mobilised on 18/05/05
• Site establishment completed & mining commenced.
• 265,000t of sediment removed.

• Ore production : 115,886t @ 1.6 g/t

AGC Mar'06 Quarter (Williamson)

• Cyclonic weather events hampered production
• Ore production : 90,377t @ 1.43 g/t (against a forecast of 130,000t @ 2.43 g/t)

AGC Jun'06 Quarter (Williamson)

• 123,178t @ 1.85 g/t
• Mining at Williamson due to be completed by end of Sep'06

AGC Sep'06 Quarter (Williamson)

• 223,174t @ 1.65 g/t
• On 15/09/06, mining operations at Williamson finished
• Williamson ore processed until mid-Feb was expected to be 1.75 g/t

AGC decided to cease mining due to lower than expected grades (reconciliation discrepancies between drilling assays, geological modelling & actual grades recovered).

Over the next couple of quarters it'll be interesting to see how BLK's mining efforts & ore grades at Williamson compare with Agincourt.
