As at date of report no cases in Northern Region (which I assume includes North Slope), cold & snow will not kill the virus, transmission is via person to person contact in the main and even in Alaska bodies remain warm.
Hopefully precautions taken by rig companies, AOGC & DNR will prevent problems and failing that Erik Opstad will have his shotgun.
