Overall a great announcement. Definitely soothes my jangled nerves too.

I thought it beneficial to share the slide below from The Noosa Mining Virtual Event on 15/07/20 (P.8). Note the ‘new coal discovery’ where Hutul 1S will be drilled. It gives a good perspective on the potential overall size of the basin (about 45km wide).


Their forward drilling plan makes sense to me, stick with the basin area where success has been made and confirm up as much of the area as you can. Nearology in action. Prod parts of the Tsagaan Tolgoi Syncline that look the most promising (downdip of coal outcrops), progressively stepping out around it so you can prove a large contingent resource here.

Then onto one of the many other sub-basins, as stated in the last presentation: ‘at least 10 more prospects in 6 sub-basins being matured for drilling’.
