To say that was a lie is incorrect. The oil is not commercial in its current state is a more accurate way of putting it.

The Icewine-2 oil is there but so far appears to be in bituminous form. It is too heavy to extract using standard fracking method.

But oily gas from another well (Charlie-1) can be injected down the Icewine-2 well under pressure. (If opened).
The correct mix makes the bitumin become light crude, as sampled from Icewine-1 in 2016.

I see that Brent Crude is US$64 and rising.
When it passes US$80 later next year, the HRZ unconventional project may become a commercial possibility.

But 88E needs an Oil Strike somewhere to improve Cash Flow and Cash Availability without tapping on shareholders shoulders for every buck. And the conventional Peregrine may just get this company on track to resolve Icewine, Yukon, Heavenly, etc.

We shall see....soon perhaps....
